There is a stark difference between the sweetness in cakes found in Japan and in other countries. Over a normal conversation I was taken to a shop serving Halal Chiffon Cake in Asakusa. The shop’s décor was really appealing and the selection of cakes was diverse.
I would admit that I am not a great fan of Japanese sweets, but this cake to my amazement was one of the best sweet things I had in Japan. The softness of the cake was just unbelievable and that made it all the more tempting. If you are in Asakusa, and looking was something light, soft and just unbelievably awesome, this café is the place to go!You will be knocked out by this cake.
