JNTO Tourist Information Center Set Up Multipurpose Room That can be Used as Prayer Room!
JNTO Tourist Information Center (TIC) located in Shin-Tokyo Building 1F (10 min walk from JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi Exit or 5 min walk from JR Yurakucho Station on Keihin Tohoku line or Yamanote line) had its renewal open on Nov 12 (Monday). Together with the renewal, it set up a multipurpose room which can be used as prayer room!
The room is quite spacious which can accommodate approximately 3 persons to pray together.
Besides of spacious room, you can borrow prayer mat.
Please inform receptionist when you want to use the room.
As there is no wudu space, you have to do wudu at the nearest rest room.
In JNTO Tourist Information Center, you will find a lot of useful information for your trip in Japan which is available in various of languages!
Another good news is, you can have kimono experience for free!!
Try to wear kimono and take pictures!
