Let’s enjoy winter Illumination!

Colorful autumn which is known as one of favorite season for tourists to visit Japan had been over.
But don`t worry! You can enjoy illumination events that is coming in winter!

Illumination are typically displayed between November and December,
but some places have longer period until March or April.
These illumination events are something that you cannot miss!

Here we would like to recommend best places to enjoy illumination in Tokyo,
that will be great for your SNS.

Caretta Illumination 2017

Caretta Illumination is being held in Caretta Shiodome every year and no admission, means FREE.
It’s theme for this year is “True Love Story” based on famous Disney movie “Beauty and The Beast”.

Caretta Shiodome access is very easy, around 4 min walk from JR Shimbashi Station.
This event will be held until 14 February 2018. There will be illumination show
in every 20 minutes start from 17:00.

Bonus, we recommend you to go to Sky Restaurant 46th Floor
where you can enjoy the beautiful Tokyo night view,
and also, it’s FREE.

Roppongi Midtown 2017

Second spot is Illumination at Roppongi Midtown, which can be accessed
around 7 min walk from Roppongi Station on Oedo Line, through exit 7 or 8.
This illumination event attract so many visitors every year.

Roppongi Midtown illumination can be enjoyed from 17:00 until 23:00.
Also, you can see Tokyo Tower from here.

This event will be held until Dec 25. However, as Dec 25 is Christmas
and there will be many visitors at that time,
so it’s better to visit Roppongi Midtown before Dec 24 so you can enjoy the illumination on your phase.

Tokyo Dome City Winter Light Garden

The third spot is in Tokyo Dome City, that can be accessed by 5 min walk
from Suidobashi Station on JR Chuo Sobu Line or Korakuen Station on Marunouchi or Namboku Line.

Because Tokyo Dome is really huge, you can have a walk and find your favorite spot.
The most recommended one is “Light of Tunnel”. This year`s theme is “Hansel and Gretel”.

This event will run until 18 Feb 2018, so make sure you don’t miss it.
