A new tourist information center has been opened in COREDO Muromachi, the location of the dashi bar we previously introduced. It is three times larger than the old information center and is staffed with concierges who can speak various languages. Visitors are introduced to recommended spots on a giant 2.6×3m map.
There are three reasons we recommend this tourist information center. First, it is free. Second, it is a space in which visitors can experience Japanese culture and it has free Wi-Fi. Finally, original drinks and sweets have been made available through collaboration with well-established Nihonbashi stores. None of these drinks and sweets are Halal, however, so please check the ingredients for yourself. The Nihonbashi information center is a great way to experience Edo (traditional Tokyo) culture efficiently when you are short on time, so you should definitely pay it a visit.
You can walk there in about 15 minutes from Tokyo Station Yaesu exit. Alternatively, take the JR Yamanote Line one station from Tokyo Station to Kanda Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and get off at the next station, Mitsukoshimae Station. Nihonbashi Information is located on the first basement floor of the COREDO Muromachi building which is directly connected to Mitsukoshimae Station A6 exit.
