Luxurious French restaurant located in Kobe, Hyogo named “Au Bec Fin Kobe” started Halal menu in April.
Halal Course
For Halal course, they use meats with Halal certificate without using any alcohol at all in meal. In addition, seasonings such as soy sauce and vinegar are also Halal.
Kitchenwares like knives are separated from ordinary ones to prevent from contamination.
Halal course requires you to reserve in advance. Group customers have to reserve first.

“When it comes to French cuisine, alcohol and soup from animals are often used in meal but we cook Halal meat, soup from vegetables and bouillon from Halal chicken instead, for the sake of Muslim. Moreover, we use Halal kitchenware like knives and cutting board, separating from normal ones. We want you to enjoy real French cuisine in the new way while base of the cuisine is traditional.”
