Not only Takoyaki but also Akashiyaki
Akashiyaki, which is loved by all Japanese people, is now available as a new menu at Matsuri, a Japanese restaurant very popular among Muslims.
Takoyaki is made with many different ingredients and condiments such as deep fried tempura batter, konnyaku, sauce, mayonnaise, etc. However, akashiyaki is made from only simple ingredients including soup, eggs, and octopus. As the name suggests, it originated in Akashi City of Hyogo Prefecture.
The price is 680 yen per 10 pieces.
Comment from the owner, Mr. Sano
We made this akashiyaki to answer to the request of several Muslim customers. Careful consideration was taken to make it fluffy and not crispy like takoyaki, and we went through many trial and error to find the best combination between akashiyaki and the soup. Usually, alcohol is included in the soup, but our soup does is alcohol-free, so please enjoy the akashiyaki without any worries.
