Tokyo Muslim Hanten
Tokyo Muslim Hanten

Chinese foods are famous all over the world. When I went to china, I found a good number of Muslim people selling Halal foods. But, in Tokyo, whenever I asked anyone that I want to eat Halal Chinese food, everyone told me that, there is no Chinese food without pork in Japan. It was disappointing for me. I decided that, I will have to wait till going back to my country to eat my favorite Chinese dish. Halal Media Japan brought me the good news. I came to know that “Tokyo Muslim Hanten” is a Chinese restaurant which uses completely Halal ingredients to prepare their dishes. I cannot express my excitement to get the information.
Entering the restaurant, I found that the interior along with the exterior is decorated with a nice combination of Chinese and Islamic themes. The people working in this restaurant were all Chinese people with decent
Get up and presentation. The menu card was longer than those Chinese restaurants I have visited before in different countries. May be some of those menus were specially prepared for Japanese people. Chinese foods are always full of variety and diversification. They have different kinds of rice and soup noodles preparation. It is interesting that Chinese people can change the flavor of their dishes according to the requirement by local people. Thus the taste of Chinese foods is different in China, Japan and South Asian countries. The soup noodles come with stewed beef, minced beef and many other flavors. Rice and soup noodles also come with different kinds of chicken preparations. In South Asian countries, we usually like Chinese foods mainly those are fried. But it was new for me to eat the soup noodles which are similar with Japanese ramen or soba but, off course totally different in taste and preparation. The taste was surprisingly spicy enough for a Japanese tongue but mouthwatering for me. I enjoyed the food without any anxiousness and suspicion.
After finishing my meal, I asked them about the place for saying prayer. One of them, very enthusiastically showed me their cute, tiny corner, where they have prepared a place for saying prayer. What more should I wish to get from a restaurant in Tokyo as a Muslim? It totally fills my heart! With a lot of thanks, I came out of the restaurant with a great pleasure and satisfaction of mind.
