Exhibitor Profile of Halal Expo Japan 2016
What is the feature of your company and the products?
For many years, we have been providing organic food and domestic raw materials/additive-free products to the people of Japan. This time we are exhibiting Castella Sponge Cake, which in general includes shortening and emulsifier in pig-derived components. However, our castella sponge cake is made by artisans via the traditional way, without including any additives nor any of these mentioned components above.
Why did your company acquire Halal certification?
The current situation in Japan will not be able to meet the demands with the increasing Muslim residents and tourists. With 2020 Olympics approaching, we want to convey the feelings of Japanese hospitality of providing food products that Muslims can eat without worries. That is why we want to obtain halal certification.
What is the recommended way of eating/cooking/using it?
Tourists can bring back as souvenirs.
What are you looking forward to in Halal Expo Japan 2016?
Through the visitors who come to the expo, we hope to increase the product exposure to more Muslim customers.
