A new store opened in Osaka in May 11th. “Matsuri” is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Japanese food including takoyaki, okonomiyaki, ramen, etc. at one-stop. Characteristics of the restaurant

Matsuri serves the top 10 Japanese food desired by overseas customers, including Muslims. The concept of the store is “authentic, healthy, and reasonable,” and we wish to have anyone enjoy our food without any worries.

Devices, difficulties experienced

All products are made from scratch without using any chilled foods. We also established a prayer space within the store, which had high demand. With the help of Muslims, we received lectures on HALAL and advices on taste. We particularly experienced great difficulties in choosing food ingredients.

Message to Muslims

Matsuri is a very wide variety of products, so we would like to have our customers try something new that they never had before or something that interests them, and experience Japanese food (Washoku). We also provided a space where we sell our products, so we would be more than happy if our store can be a place for many people from overseas to interact and communicate with each other. We also have a hand-made map of Osaka with our store as the origin, so we hope that this will help in touring the city of Osaka!!

*They are not HALAL-certified
*They also serve alcohol
