“Cabe” is an Indonesian restaurant in Meguro, Tokyo, whose name means “chili” in Indonesian. This spring Cabe opened again in Meguro taking over the place from Indonesian restaurant “Sederhana”, that has lasted for more than half of a century.
This restaurant takes about 10 minutes from Meguro Station, and is close to the Indonesian Embassy. They serves traditional Indonesian cuisine. You can enjoy delicious, authentic dishes such as “Rendang”, one of the beef stew cooked with coconut milk and spices, and “Sate”, a type of skewered chicken.
They do NOT serve any meals containing pork, however, sometimes they use beef that is not processed as Halal because of supplier. So please confirm to them in advance. The meals are cooked with Halal seasonings and prayer space with wudhu tap is available. There is NO menu containing alcohol, but, alcoholic drinks are sold.
