“AMMA,” which means mother in Nepalese, is a Nepalese and Indian restaurant in Hirano District of Osaka City. The curry, naan, and side dishes offered for a reasonable price in a home-like atmosphere taste somewhat nostalgic. Particularly, their curries are thick, similar to Japanese curry, but have a different, more genuine taste. Talking with the Nepalese owner who has been living in Japan for 8 years, Mr. Rijal, is also another way to enjoy the restaurant.
*Although the restaurant is not HALAL-certified, they offer HALAL and vegetarian dishes. They also offer alcohol.
