Teppan-yaki (Japanese style grilled meat and vegetables on a hot plate) restaurant SUN in Sano city of Tochigi prefecture started offering Halal meat (Wagyu beef) under the supervision of NIKKOKEN.
In starting this commitment, they made a system for accepting Muslim customers by preparing a complete set of new cooking utensils. They have a hot plate just for Halal meat and will correspond to alcohol in ingredients, etc. They are also planning on making a prayer space in the future.
Sano city will strengthen the system for accepting Muslim people in NIKKOKEN and SUN. There is an outlet mall in Sano city and is an exciting place to visit for sightseeing.
