Gaishoku business week was held for three days from August 26th. This event, in which 11 exhibitions with different specializations are simultaneously carried out, has the largest scale in Japan, attracting 580 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors. HALAL seminars were carried out on all days, with many participants willing to learn about HALAL. The fact that HALAL foods are displayed in normal booths and not in special “HALAL food corner” is representing that HALAL market in Japan is naturally expanding.
Tugba trading, which operates Turkish restaurant “Mrs. Istanbul” in Haneda airport, served Turkish ice cream, HALAL bread, and HALAL boxed lunches. Many visitors stopped at the booths and showed interest. The company is also planned to participate in JAPAN HALAL EXPO 2015 to be carried out in November.
