Fly High with Paragliding Experience at Skygym Sano in Tochigi!

A must try for those who loves outdoor activities

For those who loves outdoor activities, now you can fly high and experience the sky strolling at Skygym Sano using a paraglider—lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft. Located at Ashikaga-shi which is famous with Ashikaga Flower Park, paragliding at Skygym Sano can be your adventurous and thrilling one day trip.

There are three courses available for you to choose; Tandem Flight Course, Flight Experience Course, and another one is Master Course. Below are the details of the three courses.

Tandem Flight Course

Course fee: 9,000 yen (including tax, insurance and area fee)

Fly with instructor behind for about 10 minutes. (2 persons ride)
Starts from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. (further discussions needed)
There is weight limit for adult.
Kid’s fee applied from kids aged 7 years to 12 years old.
Pickup service is available for 3 persons.
Underage (participants below 20 years old) need to come with parents. Please note that course will not be continued if parents do not come.
Parent’s consent is needed for underage (participants below 20 years old).
Reservation is needed at least two days before.
15 seconds video and 1 still image will be given to participants.

If you are interested to try Tandem Flight Course, get 1,000 yen off per person! Just say to Skygym Sano’s staff the keyword ‘RYOUMO MUSLIM INBOUND DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL’ and you will only have to pay 8,000 yen per flight.

Flight Experience Course

Fee: 15,000 yen (adults only, including insurance, tax and area fee)

In this course, participants will learn basic movements and operation on the ground with instructor, and fly on your own after checking the weather.

One day course.
‘Yukkuri Taiken’ is also available. Learn at your own pace for several days from 3 to 4 hours. Fee is 5,000 yen per day.
Course starts from early in the morning.
Equipment can be used many times during the course.
There are possibilities that this course can’t be completed within one day. 5,000 yen (per day) will be charged from the second day onwards. (equipment, area, insurance fees are included).
Parent’s consent is needed for underage.

Master Course

Fee: 20,000 yen (tax included)

Suitable for those who wants to fly freely with own ability.
Valid for 2 months only after payment is done.
Fly as many times as you want during Master Course period.
Area rental fee is charged separately (3,000 yen per day, tax and insurance is included).
For inquiries regarding emergency, thermal soaring and flight weather lessons, please discuss further with Skygym Sano.
Equipment need to be bought for this course.

Important Notes

It is advisable to book your session as early as possible for them to organize your flight.
Insurance provided in every course can’t be applied to tourist.
Tourists from oversea needs to show their passport during reception.
Participants living in Japan need to show their own insurance card during reception.
