An annual event in the month of Ramadan
Tokyo Institute of Technology has approximately 200 Muslim foreign students and is known as one of the most advanced global universities in Japan. On July 29, an annual event of Iftar party was held at the university.
The lecture “Why does Muslim fast during Ramadan?” was given, and the speaker explained the ideas of Islam such as six beliefs and five pillars. An exhibition of Islamic geometric art was also held. In this event, Muslims and other participants had a pleasant time together.
