Kajiya, which is a restaurant in Kamakura that serves seafood dishes, started serving Muslim-friendly dishes. Specifically, menus including seafood-don made using HALAL soy sauce and ten-don and a broiled fish plate made using HALAL sauce will be provided.
The manager of the restaurant, Mr. Maruyama mentioned that “Currently, Kamakura is not prepared to receive Muslim guests regardless of it being a tourist site. I would like to offer delicious food to Muslim people as much as possible,” and took the initiative in starting the Muslim-friendly service. He particularly recommends local raw young sardines and boiled young sardines.
