We introduce to you a new café located two minutes by walk from Kobe mosque. African café Kollere was built by renovating an old house.

The theme of Kollere is to have “customers experience African relaxation and enjoy a brief relief from daily life,” and African coffee are served along with selected dishes. The motto of the café is to serve food that is good for your body, and dishes are created without using additives as much as possible.

The owner, Ms. Yamaguchi, served in Senegal as a member of Overseas Cooperation Volunteer for two years and had a business for another one year also have experience of travelling to many overseas countries across the world. Her friendly personality is attracting Muslim customers residing in Kobe city that are originally from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, etc.
Although Ms. Yamaguchi will not be in the shop from February to March this year, a ethnic foods chef will be cooking up dishes as Turkish Cafe for the meantime. Why not taking a break at Kollere and try out their limited seasonal menus?
