Students and businessmen including Muslims learned peace through the sweets there. More than 30 people learned the importance of Halal foods. Some Muslim women also participated in.
It was impressive that they were enjoying Halal sweets with the Japanese students.
Sekai Cafe cooperated with this party.
Because they present the concept of “a cafe where people from across the world sit around the table together.” They provide dishes for Vegetarian or people having allergies, not only for Muslims.

It is said that olive represents world peace.
The word, Islam is also contained the meaning of “peace.” People having different cultures, values, norms thought about it through foods as a common denominator.

Takei Kazuhito, who run a restaurant, Le Coeur Heart and had offered olives to the Pope, baked sweets for the party. He always appeals dietary education so that he would like to provide sweets which are not only delicious but also safe and effective for both physical and mental health.

Olive sweets made us relieved. There was a variety of olive sweets such as chiffon cake with olive leaves, olive confiture (Jam) sweetened a little, etc.

One of participants stated.
“I didn’t think I could do something before this time although I knew Muslims suffered from ignorance of their traditions like Halal. However, now I understand the importance of being the part of this concerns through olive sweets and the presentation Mr. Takei sincerely made,”

For smiles of people having various cultures.
Why don’t we communicate interculturally with foods?? Then learn and understand Halal culture with “delicious” and “joy” together!
